2025: we watched a drone show in Apex instead of fireworks:

 

 

 

2023: It was extremely hot and thunderstorms threatened and D had Covid and the puppy was on edge so we didn't go to see fireworks... but... we could hear the Apex show from our backyard! We did make a great dinner with steak, mac-cheese, corn on cob, etc. but we didn't get much of a photo of it!

 

2022: first time the Town of Apex offered fireworks, so we were there! 

2021: There were fireworks this year but we didn't go to any... the neighbor sent up a lot of fireworks that Ginny hated.

 

2020: Covid-19 Fourth and we did nothing... except make sure Ginny was okay with the fireworks set off by neighbors.

2019: again, watching a movie and eat ice cream while waiting for fireworks on July 3. The next morning, Mei Mei volunteered to help out at the fire station pancake breakfast.

2018: we are too jet lagged from China trip to do anything on July 4!

July 3, Did our usual: watched a movie in the car until the Morrisville fireworks started. On July 4, we went to Brandon's home for a cook out.
