December 2024/January 2025:

Jie Jie was already back in Chapel Hill to celebrate the new year with her friends. Mei Mei wanted to go to IHOP on New Year's Day like we did when the girls were littles. She still ordered from the kids menu (funny face) and Ma ordered, for the first time ever, from the "seniors" menu (age 55+ at IHOP)!!

December 2023/January 2024: We didn't do much as Jie Jie was still recovering from wisdom teeth surgery and Ma had an arm that didn't work.
